Kenzie takes a strengths-based and client-centered approach that aims to increase self-awareness, facilitate self-growth, and encourage clients to take on an active role in their treatment.
Kenzie believes rapport building is crucial in creating a strong therapeutic relationship. Kenzie works to ensure her therapy space feels comfortable and safe. Kenzie uses general talk therapy along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in her work with clients.
Kenzie graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work at Colorado State University. Kenzie specializes in providing individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. Kenzie has experience working with several different client issues, including anxiety, depression, identity conflict, trauma, and behavioral issues. Kenzie also has experience working in a variety of settings – residential, in-home, outpatient, and school settings. When Kenzie is not working, she enjoys being with her French Bulldogs, Beans and Spanky. Kenzie loves being active and values time spent with family and friends.
