I work with clients on the full spectrum of self-awareness and EQ. If you're just starting the path of personal growth and this is your first time in therapy, then GREAT! Let's get you familiar with the process and start deepening your awareness and connection to self. If you're a seasoned pro with therapy and are looking to continue the process and dive deep into your psyche with parts work etc, that's also GREAT!
My career as a therapist came out of an evolution of my own history of addiction and trauma. Prior to coming out of that absolute hell, I wasn't even open to seeing a therapist, much less becoming one. And....well...here I am 14 years later, committed to my own longterm therapy, sobriety and so grateful to get to support others on the path. I started my career in drug court and addiction rehab and continued that for about seven + years. In working with individuals in the throws of addiction it became quickly evident that I would need to get real good at doing trauma work. I practice both EMDR/IFS but lean much more heavily on the IFS/parts work with a understanding that the foundation needs to be in the therapist/client relationship and making lots of space for that connection to develop.
I'm a weirdo and an anti-capitalist punk rock dude at heart. My 12 step background also has had a big influence on my worldview and I tend to lean toward the Buddhist/non-dual and Existential philosophies in my general understanding of life. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a consult please feel free to reach out. I wish the absolute best in your search for the right therapist!
