Hello, I am not your typical therapist. I'm a licensed counselor, certified thanatologist, and somatic experiencing practitioner specializing in walking with people through life’s darkest chapters. With a grounded presence and deep empathy, I walk with people navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions by honoring both the emotional and physical toll of loss. I integrate evidence-based approaches with creative modalities, weaving in narrative therapy, somatic tools, ancestral exploration, and even pop culture and folklore when relevant. Whether you're processing the death of a loved one, grieving the life you thought you'd have, reckoning with identity, or recovering from trauma, I offer a space where all forms of grief are valid, and healing doesn’t have to look like "moving on."
My style is intuitive, nonjudgmental, and gently curious. I believe in embracing the full spectrum of being human, even the messy, uncomfortable, and haunted parts, and supporting people in meaning making from what they’ve survived. Rooted in both science and story, my work is especially resonant for deep feelers, creatives, and those who’ve never quite fit into traditional therapy spaces. If you’ve been searching for a therapist who understands that healing can be nonlinear, spiritual, and sometimes even a little strange, I offer expertise and soul-level understanding.
My approach is rooted in depth counseling, a modality that explores the unconscious patterns, archetypes, and life stories that shape our inner worlds. I combine this with somatic experiencing, a body-based trauma healing method that gently supports nervous system regulation and helps release stored survival responses without retraumatization. As a certified thanatologist, a specialist in death, dying, and bereavement, I also bring a rare depth of knowledge to grief work. I hold space for the existential questions, spiritual longings, and cultural complexities that come with loss. This integrative, soul-centered lens allows for more than just symptom relief; it offers transformation.
