Hi, I'm Kayla! I have graciously provided psychotherapy for trauma survivors for over a decade. I've led mindfulness-based workshops and group therapies, including comprehensive DBT programming. I also supervise aspiring clinicians and provide consultation to licensed professionals around complex clinical cases and assessment. I've gained invaluable experience from the stories I've humbly witnessed, cultivating a therapeutic approach that balances acceptance and the invitation for change. I hold a compassionate, strength-based perspective that not only builds the therapeutic alliance, but lifts up the meaning behind this work. My passion is to help others by providing structure, respect, and gentle inquiry. I believe in clients holding themselves accountable to their own change process. As a mindfulness-based clinician, I enjoy weaving spiritual concepts into sessions. I wants clients to feel empowered to learn and use strategies to regulate their own nervous systems.
My style is relational and attachment-based. I ascribe to both behavioral and spiritual modalities that emphasize the importance of cultivating connection to the essence of ourSelf, others, and the world around us. This perspective helps us achieve a greater sense of clarity, meaning and ultimately, desired change.
