I speak to many people who feel lonely, without purpose, lost in the hurt and frenzy of the world’s suffering. We live in fragmented times that often leave us feeling isolated, wondering where we belong or what the future holds. In my work, I foster collaborative & healing client/counselor relationships, with the intention to find meaning in suffering and joy in living, to uncover parts of yourself that have been lost, and discover empowering, alternative stories for the future. I often work with clients in relationship or career transition, professionals wanting deeper meaning, and those seeking peaceful ground below anxiety.
I am invested in working with clients to consider the movement of their own stories, passions, strengths, and creativity. Part of healing is uncovering old patterns that are not serving your life, loosening up the often powerful grip of pain. By doing so, we can access a life of deeper connection and open up room for hope and growth. I draw meaning and containment in collaborative conversations, often engaging in the hopeful imagination of Narrative Therapy and the collective landscape of coming home through Depth Psychology.
I am an artist, writer, musician, and an affiliate professor. I teach on various topics including writing, pilgrimage, and career/vocational discernment. With an M.A. in both Mental Health Counseling and Literary Studies, I seek the ways that counseling and literature are closely bound by the rich exploration and discerning forces of human stories.
