Katy is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of experience working with children, families and adults in community mental health settings. She works to build safety, and a supportive environment that promotes healing and respect for the client in their journey. Since adding EMDR to my practice, I feel even stronger about the power of therapy and the hope for healing. I know that supporting caregivers and tapping into caregiver support is the most beneficial puzzle piece for creating lasting change.

My undergraduate degree is in social work from Metropolitan State University and I have a graduate degree in counseling psychology from Lesley University. I am also certified in EMDR, an EMDR consultant in training, trained in Flash technique, narrative therapy, CBT and have a strong foundation in synergetic play.
