Hi there! I'm a Nicaraguan-American therapist that's been nerding out (practicing) since 2017. I try to take a lighthearted approach to therapy and find humor is a key part of really building trust and comfort. A big part of my approach is helping you find what's helpful for you in the short and long term and working towards building that. Judging things as healthy/unhealthy or good/bad isn't always the most productive and ultimately therapy is here to be helpful for you.

Growing up myself in Nicaragua has given me a fairly well rounded perspective on how different systems can impact us and so I tend to work well with folks from a variety of different backgrounds. Some folks just want coping skills, some just want to talk things out, some want to get into the nitty gritty with EMDR, and I'm here for all of it.

Outside of the therapy world I'm a huge gaming nerd and movie buff, especially horror movies. I've also got an old lady cat that likes to make rare appearances on video when she wants attention but maybe one day she'll learn how to be an emotional support cat.
