hey y'all, I'm Avery! I am passionate about supporting LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and ethically non-monogamous folks in embracing their authentic selves and building practical skills for self advocacy and cultivating calmness in this not so calm world. My clients often find themselves in periods of transitions, feeling misunderstood, and navigating challenges with how they relate to themselves and others. You may be struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and pressure from societal “shoulds”. Perhaps you are hoping to heal from trauma but unsure of where to begin. I am here to build a space with you where you can feel it all.
I believe that one of the best things about being human is that we are relational beings; we heal and grow in community with one another. I integrate a social justice, feminist, and queer lens in our work together to understand your unique story. I strive to create therapeutic relationships where my clients feel accepted, understood, and empowered.
Therapy is a collaborative process in which you are the expert of your own life; it is my privilege to walk alongside you on this journey of healing and self discovery.
