Hello and welcome! I have been providing compassionate, accepting, non-judgemental psychotherapy care for 25 years. I am deeply humbled and honored to learn from and along with my clients as they navigate health challenges, loss, and life awakenings. During my career, I have extensive training and experience working with adults, couples, and families facing life-limiting or chronic illnesses, as well as other stress life events. During these unanticipated hurdles, it inspires me to sit with people in their pain, suffering and ultimately in their resilience and transformation. Life's most difficult times change us in profound ways. I believe we get the opportunity to decide how we rise from those events and adapt our identities and stories keep learning and growing.
My clients experience me as warm, easy going, inviting, bright, curious, and present. I continually strive to grow as a person and as a clinician. In this middle point of my career I feel more inspired and excited about the opportunities for healing growth than I ever have. I was trained with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR approaches early in my career. I have since expanded my approaches to include Parts Work (aka IFS), Existential Therapy, Relationally based approaches, Grief Therapy certification, and a Fellowship in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy.
I believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience during this life in our bodies. I find the human experience incredibly fascinating. It fills me with endless gratitude to be able to walk together with my clients as we navigate this unpredictible journey. I look forward to meeting you.
