I love working with people in moments of self-doubt and uncertainty, crisis and trauma. I love helping them to rebuild trust in their bodies and themselves. I am an LPC Candidate, which means I'm still working towards my full license, but I have several decades of life experience that I bring to my work with clients. Clinically, I'm trained in EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with additional experience in Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems. We'll work as a team in therapy to decide on what tools you need to get to where you want to go.
I have a lot of experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence. I know that this type of abuse can violate your sense of self in the deepest possible way, leading to an overwhelming flood of feelings. I know that, though it can be challenging, re-establishing that connection with yourself and learning to accept who you are is vital.
I believe in evidence based interventions. As a therapist trained in EMDR, ACT, IFS, and many other modalities, I know what it takes to heal and how to get you there. I offer reduced rates for self-pay clients as well as evening and weekend appointments. I would be honored to walk with you on your journey towards healing.
