Lizzy White is a licensed professional counselor with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Her passion lies in working with children, young people whose brains are still developing (typically under 25), and parents seeking guidance and support.
Lizzy’s interest in this population is both personal and professional. She believes that many of our core beliefs, emotional patterns, and behaviors are shaped during these critical developmental years—often as a result of trauma or attachment challenges. Without proper support or the opportunity to process these experiences, individuals may carry unresolved emotional pain into adulthood, leading to struggles with anxiety, depression, and relationships.
Whether you're a young person navigating your own challenges or a parent feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to help, you're not alone. Parenting—and simply managing life—can be incredibly difficult, especially when trying to balance relationships, work, and your own mental well-being. Struggling with emotional regulation or expanding your window of tolerance is normal—for both you and your child.
Lizzy specializes in supporting highly sensitive people (HSPs), including children with BIG emotions, teens, and young adults dealing with life transitions, anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles. Her therapeutic approach blends play therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, somatic work, humanistic, and person-centered practices. She creates a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, accepted, and encouraged to show up as their authentic selves.
If you have questions or would like to schedule a free 20-minute consultation, feel free to reach out. Lizzy looks forward to connecting with you!
