Hello, my name is Brittany (she/her). I was born and raised in Maine and moved to Colorado in 2013 for my love of nature and the Rocky Mountains. I enjoy camping, skiing, learning, and spending time with my dog and loved ones in my spare time.
Before coming to Mountain Vista, I worked with children on the autistic spectrum, the elderly with neurodegenerative diseases, and populations in poverty in the USA and other countries. Today my specialty and passion are working with neurodivergent adults, particularly with ASD or ADHD.
Today my specialty and passion are working with neurodivergent adults, particularly with ASD or ADHD. I also have vast experience working with anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and the LGBTQ+ community. My holistic approach differs based on what my clients need when they walk through my door but my favorite tools are EMDR, solution-focused, humanistic, and neurofeedback. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and the world around you and then find balance.
Professionally: I earned my Bachelor’s at the University of Maine with a double major in Psychology and Child Development and Family Relations. I obtained my Master’s in Psychology from the Indiana Institute of Technology. I am an Unlicensed Psychotherapist (Lic # NLC.0110831) working towards my LPC. Additionally, I have intensive training in neuropsychological evaluations (focus in neurodegenerative diseases and TBIs), neurofeedback, life coaching, and EMDR (focus in ASD and chronic pain/illness).
