My name is Caroline Stevens (she/her). I was raised in the Chicagoland area and moved to Colorado 3 years ago with my husband where we can be close to nature and the city! Some of
my hobbies include dancing, writing, hiking, climbing, and spending as much time as possible outside. I have worked with a variety of ages ranging from clients just 3 years old to adults over 60 and have over 10 years’ experience working with people with autism in a variety of different settings. Within counseling, I value supporting people in making new connections that enable them to achieve positive change within their lives. I have a person centered approach and see each person as a unique individual with a unique experience. I also value using the body as a therapeutic tool within counseling!
Professionally: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC.0022579). I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in somatic counseling from Prescott College and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Columbia College Chicago. I have experience in play therapy, grief counseling, sand tray therapy, person centered therapy, and CBT. Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
