Hello! My name is Kristin Figueroa (she/her). I was raised in Arizona and moved to Colorado with my family to pursue my career. I work with teens 16+ and adults who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. I also work with neurodivergent individuals, honoring both their strengths and unique needs. My approach is empathetic, holistic, and collaborative and I use integrative practices that support overall well-being. My role is to walk alongside you as you navigate your healing journey, offering a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where growth can unfold at your pace. I believe in treating clients holistically because our well-being falls under a delicate umbrella of mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional components.
More personally, I have a creative side. Some of my hobbies include theatre, film, music, cooking, and traveling. I am an animal lover, and we have two dogs that we love to take on adventures with us.
Professionally: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado (LPC.0023118). I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and I have specializations in Trauma, Crisis, and Behavioral Neuroscience. I have experience in working with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, OCD, ADHD, and ASD. Some of my techniques and interventions include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Person-Centered Therapy.
