General
I began studying psychotherapy, curious about understanding the many ways we connect with others and how we cope to make sense of our experiences.
My own therapy with a qualified therapist led to self-exploration that increased my self-awareness and fostered an appreciation for what it means to be human.
Along the way, I made changes to coping skills that no longer served me, and I began to revamp how I connected with myself, my work, and my relationships. I learned that change is possible.
As your therapist, I will listen to your story with compassion and work with you to understand your experiences and their impact on your relationships with yourself and others.
How Can I Help You As Your Therapist
I believe that you’re wired for connection, and when your connections suffer, it can leave you feeling isolated, anxious, depressed, and your mental health suffers.
I can help you work on the anxiety that often comes from feeling disconnected from others. I integrate several different approaches to support you as you sort out what’s working and what's not in your daily life.
We will focus on your thought patterns, self-exploration, and how to be more present in your relationships to help you find relief from the feelings of anxiety and depression.
Another crucial aspect of my approach is the importance of our therapeutic relationship, both as counselor and client. This relationship is central to developing a compassionate and honest lens to help you examine your life’s knots, discomforts, and achievements.
I am currently working as a therapist in private practice in Denver, Colorado, and would love to connect with you!
