I believe counseling is a collaborative and empowering process where healing begins through connection, safety, and self-discovery. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I tailor each session to the unique needs of the individual, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges. My passion lies in walking alongside others as they make sense of their experiences and build the tools they need to move forward.

My personal experience with counseling and witnessing loved ones experience invalidating or disconnected mental health care are part of the reasons I was drawn to this field. These experiences fueled my commitment to becoming the kind of therapist who listens deeply, respects each person’s story, and offers genuine support throughout their healing process.

I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, family disruption, and systems involvement such as foster care. My work with the Department of Human Services gave me the opportunity to support individuals and families facing domestic violence, addiction, neglect, and abuse. These experiences have strengthened my trauma-informed lens and deepened my compassion for those navigating complex life circumstances.

I am currently completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in trauma. I bring over five years of experience in the field and remain dedicated to ongoing growth and learning to best serve those I work with.
