As a graduate student in the Master of Social Work program at the University of Denver, I bring a deep commitment to holding space for healing, growth, and meaningful change. I believe that every individual is the expert of their own experience. I want to ensure that I provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment that honors each person’s story, while also challenging unhelpful patterns and exploring new ways of relating to oneself and others.
My prior experience in the social work field includes supporting children, adolescents, and families across a variety of settings, from outdoor-based classrooms to child welfare systems. These experiences have deepened my respect for the resilience of individuals and the power of authentic connection. Following the completion of my MSW, I plan to pursue clinical licensure and continue developing as a trauma-informed therapist.
I am excited to continue expanding my clinical skills and deepening my understanding of how to best support individuals through an empathetic and compassionate lens. I’m especially interested in approaches that integrate mind and body, and I remain committed to learning practices that are responsive to the unique needs and identities of each person I work with.
