I’m Laura Trapani, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist based in the greater Denver, Colorado area. I offer in person sessions in the Denver area and telehealth services for those in both Illinois and Colorado.
I have always known I wanted to have a family and be a mother. I did not always know I wanted to be a therapist. When I entered my first psychology class in college, I felt like I had finally found something I was interested in learning that didn’t feel like a chore to study. I loved every second of that class.
After working in a corporate environment, I realized I wanted to work in a field helping others. I entered grad school to obtain my MSW from the University of Illinois while working as a preschool teacher simultaneously. After graduating, I worked in schools where I learned much about kids with special needs, high anxiety, and the struggles parents have in helping their children navigate social emotional challenges at school. Finally, I became a Licensed Clinical Social worker and decided I wanted to help parents outside of a school setting in a private practice. I founded TherapyLink in 2018, and have helped numerous women navigate the ever-changing challenges of Motherhood.
