Amanda Phannadeth is an independently contracted therapist with Forward Family Therapy. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting diverse populations across various settings. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2018, followed by her Master of Social Work in 2019. She has been practicing in a clinical role since 2022 and has worked in the mental health and social justice fields since 2016.
Throughout her career, Amanda has had the privilege of working with a wide range of populations, including adolescents and teens in residential treatment, adults experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, victims of crime, and, most recently, children and families impacted by significant trauma in community mental health. While Amanda specializes in working with children, adolescents, and teens who have experienced significant trauma, she also supports adults seeking to build more secure relationships with themselves and others.
Amanda values collaboration in the therapeutic space and integrates a range of trauma-informed, relational, and evidence-based modalities to support her clients based on their individual and unique needs and preferences. She views therapy as a collaboration by working together to make meaningful shifts in the way her clients experience the world in hopes that they feel more aligned with who they are beyond anxiety, depression, or the lasting effects of trauma.
