Hi there, I'm here to help you feel better - whether that's "you" as an individual or "you" as a couple. I enjoy working with men, women, and couples, and I see clients with a wide range of concerns. These include stress, anxiety, depression, difficulties with life transitions, and challenges in relationships. I am passionate about helping people feel empowered, whether that is helping women with self-esteem and body image, men with emotional expression and relationships, or couples who are struggling with connection and communication. I believe strongly in the therapeutic connection between client(s) and therapist, and I do not take lightly the work that I do in supporting those who choose to share their lives with me.
I use a blended approach to therapy, including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), Solution Focused Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, and EFCT, (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy). What all those terms mean is that I do not take a "one size fits all approach" to my work with clients. I believe in setting realistic goals and working towards them in a way that feels most accessible to you.
I know how overwhelming life can feel and how insurmountable the issues we face can seem. If you find yourself struggling, I hope you'll reach out for the support you need. I know firsthand how amazing and empowering it can be just to sit and talk with someone who views you with unconditional positive regard. I really look forward to helping you.
