With over 40 years of experience across diverse setting, I bring a broad perspective to help you navigate life's most complex challenges and transitions. I enjoy helping client's problem solve, grow and work through issues that are creating obstacles to your personal and professional growth.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker. I received my Master's degree in social work in 1980 from the University of Denver. In addition, I hold post graduate certifications in family therapy and gerontology. I have been in private practice since 1997. Prior to private practice, I worked in many clinical settings, including mental health, adoptions, employee assistance programs, hospitals and sudden infant death syndrome. I have also worked extensively with the military and their families both at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center and as a Military and Family Life Consultant on various military bases in the United States and overseas. Issues included deployment, re-integration, depression, and relationship issues.
I enjoy working with adults and older adults. I specialize in several clinical areas including grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I use various clinical modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy and solution focused therapy. I look forward to working with you on your unique journey to wellness and self-fulfillment.
