I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) who believes that everyone has the capacity to heal from trauma and build a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2020, graduating during the height of the pandemic—a time that deepened my appreciation for human resilience and connection.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a family advocate supporting single-parent households in transitional housing, helping families find stability and hope. I also served as a case manager, assisting individuals in meeting essential needs such as food, shelter, employment, and transportation. As a fellow for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), I conducted research exploring first responders’ understanding of mental health and substance use. Later, I worked with the Colorado Department of Human Services providing therapy for youth in detention centers—an experience that strengthened my passion for trauma-informed care and restorative healing.
Today, my clinical focus includes obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), LGBTQ+ related issues, trauma, and substance use. I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (EXRP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I believe therapy should never be a “one-size-fits-all” experience—each treatment plan I create is uniquely tailored to the individual, honoring their story, strengths, and goals.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a lover of plants, books, social justice, and all animals. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your path toward healing and growth.
