Did you experience a traumatic childhood? What are the moments that stand out as shaping who you became — either through pain or resilience? How do you notice your past influencing your relationships, boundaries, or sense of self right now?

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Addictions Counselor II, Intuitive Counselor, and Life Coach, I have 30+ years of experience providing compassionate, empathetic, client-centered, strengths-based, change-focused, depth-oriented therapy to my age 26+ clients.

With my holistic philosophy, I incorporate all levels into my counseling: psychological, mental, emotional, energetic, cultural, biological, genetic, social, environmental, relational and spiritual. My background includes decades of private practice as a therapist/counselor, in addition to contract work at various mental health centers in the Denver Metro Area. I created, owned and operated SoulWorks Hypnotherapy Training School for several years, and I still teach, mentor and coach hypnotherapists privately, as well as offering classes and groups in many subjects in addition to hypnotherapy: personal growth, intuitive awareness, writing, body image, sound healing, managing depression, exploring trauma and reducing stress. I also taught for a Master’s of Counseling college program, and supervised hypnotherapists and LPC candidates.

I bring a wide range of therapy styles, orientations, tools and skills to my work, including Hypnotherapy/Guided Imagery, Jungian/Depth Psychology, EMDR, CBT, DBT, Experiential, Interpersonal, Depth-Oriented Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, Existential, Narrative, Psychodynamic, Gestalt Parts Work/IFS, Life/Personal Coaching, Writing as Therapy, Music/Sound Healing, Insight/Empathy, Intuition, and Laughter/Humor.

As a single mother of a now-grown son, I understand the financial, emotional, physical and mental challenges of being a woman, a mother, and a professional. Earlier in my life, I made my living as a musician/singer. With my varied life experiences, I bring compassion, hope and understanding to each client’s struggles. In my free time, I enjoy fiction writing, reading, walking, singing, cinematherapy, and exploring new techniques for change and growth to bring to my clients.
