I am a licensed clinical social worker offering trauma and somatic based psychotherapy to support body mind integration. My clinical history includes psychotherapy, integrated primary care, child welfare, contemplative elder care and integrative health.
I work with clients who are interested in experiencing more freedom and joy in their lives and those who are curious about knowing themselves in a more intimate way. I am formally trained in Somatic Experiencing and offer this modality during sessions.
My personal lens and worldview are informed by my own identity as an Asian American woman and my experience growing up in a bicultural household. I engage clients from a relational position and am consistently aware of the impact of culture, power, privilege and oppression on individual and systemic wellness.
I believe that through self inquiry, people can understand the roots of their suffering. The hope is for clients to feel more comfortable in their own bodies and to feel at ease with themselves and the world around them.
