If you’re looking for a genuine and authentic therapist who believes in swearing and humor in the therapeutic relationship then look no further. Hi, I’m Denae! As a therapist who lives in the neurodivergent world myself, I believe therapy should be both real and lighthearted. With over a decade in behavioral health and dual licenses in counseling and addictions, I bring both clinical training and personal experience. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. My goal is to create a safe space where you can show up authentically, free from judgment, with a touch of humor along the way.
My approach is grounded in empathy, humor, and authenticity. I believe therapy can be a space for honest, tough conversations without losing warmth and lightness. I focus on helping you recognize and challenge negative self-talk and cognitive distortions. Our sessions are collaborative, creating a supportive space where you can accept all parts of yourself.
You’ll gain tools to manage anxiety, ADHD, and stress while building a kinder relationship with yourself. We’ll work to quiet your inner critic, strengthen self-acceptance, and develop practical strategies to boost your confidence. My goal is for you to leave each session with insights and strategies that empower you to navigate life’s challenges.
