Hi, I’m Kodie Palmer. I’m a therapist at Fearlessly Authentic Psychology, and I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. If you’re here because things feel heavy, confusing, or overwhelming, you don’t have to face this alone- and you don’t have to have everything figured out.
My background is rooted in wanting to understand people and their experiences as fully as possible. Before graduate school, I earned three bachelor’s degrees in Psychology; Sociology with a concentration in Criminology; and Philosophy from The University of Tennessee. This helps me look at what you’re going through from multiple perspectives—your inner world, your relationships, the systems around you, and the deeper questions about meaning that often arise when life feels difficult.
My hope is to offer a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. We’ll move at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you, and work together toward relief, clarity, and healing—one step at a time. I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds who could use some support, whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, anger issues, relationship concerns, identity questions, life transitions, or feeling stuck and unsure what comes next. Clients often describe me as caring, empathic, direct, and supportive. I will be honest with you, but never harsh. My commitment is to your flourishing, in both healing and happiness, and I walk with you at a pace that feels manageable instead of overwhelming.
In the therapy room, I use a multi-theoretical perspective that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic work, and humanistic approaches. So we might look at your thoughts and behaviors, explore your emotions and history, and pay attention to your values and sense of self whatever feels the most important to you. I do not believe there is one right way to heal. I work with you to find what fits your personality, your goals, and your lived experience.
