In this life, it is impossible to come out unscathed. As we journey forward we continue to accrue new scars, bruises, and scrapes. It often seems the world asks that we simply put a band-aid on our deep wounds and keep moving; when so often our injuries and brokenness need more attention and care. As a therapist, it is such an honor to bare witness and tend to the wounds. I take a very relational approach to counseling and I enjoy working with motivated and insightful, teens and adults who are looking for help with trauma recovery, anxiety & depression, grief & loss, ADHD, and life transitions.
I hope to help you understand your story and work towards wholeness and healing. I strive to create an atmosphere of compassion, insight, and empowerment. I take a trauma informed and collaborative approach to healing, implementing attachment, narrative, EMDR, and CBT based practices.
