Perhaps you are in the midst of the perinatal period — the time between when you are planning or contemplating growing your family, through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and early parenting — navigating some of the most challenging, rewarding, lonely, joyous, frustrating, meaningful, confusing, and transformative years of life.

You may be feeling out of control, disconnected, or numb in the aftermath of a difficult childhood, trauma, or loss, feeling stuck, ashamed, or confused.

Maybe you are longing for more connection, safety, or ease in relationships with your partner, children or family members, wanting to move beyond recurring cycles of miscommunication, conflict, or distance and find new ways to relate that feel more aligned with your self and values.

Or perhaps you are struggling with complicated thoughts, feelings or behaviors related to body image or your relationship to eating, exercise, or food.

You deserve support.
Therapy can offer a space to slow down, process, deepen your understanding of yourself, and learn new skills so you can feel more presence, safety, agency, pleasure, and joy in your body, mind, and relationships.

I can support you in making sense of your experiences, help you connect with yourself and strengthen your relationships, and find steadier ground in the midst of challenge and change.

In addition to obtaining my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work, I also completed a two-year intensive post-graduate fellowship focused on serving individuals in the perinatal period, which has uniquely equipped me to support this population. I have specialized training and supervision in treating trauma-related disorders and symptoms, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS) , psychodynamic therapy, and somatic interventions. In my previous roles, I’ve served as a child and family therapist, community organizer, abortion doula, and advocate for survivors of sexual violence. These experiences have deeply influenced my current work and have given me a nuanced understanding of what meaningful support looks like.
