That overwhelm, stress, and anxiety you’ve been feeling.. what have you been doing with it? Wishing it away? Shaming yourself for it? What if we took a different approach — one rooted in curiosity, authenticity, and compassion? My practice is built on the Norwegian term “koselig” that is used to describe an all-encompassing sense of comfort one experiences with they feel “at home”. I know what is is like to feel koselig with yourself, to be confident in your identity amidst your circumstances.. and I also know what it is like to be on the other side of that — to be longing for the feeling amidst a trying season.
In my work, I have found that feeling overwhelmed often occurs in conjunction with the various life transitions we encounter. These transitions greatly impact our identity and can leave us feeling disconnected, confused, and untethered — especially if we’re lacking support.
Whether you’re finding yourself disenchanted with young adulthood, becoming a parent, in the midst of some family or relationship issues, or in another type of transition, I’d love to journey alongside you. I’ll provide the hope and space for exploration; you provide the honest story. What we will find is a new version of yourself— someone who is koselig.
