Welcome! My name is Myers (she/her), and I'm thankful you're here! Are you struggling with low motivation, anxiety about social situations or feelings of depression? On the cusp of a life transition and struggling with support and knowing what to do next? Throughout therapy, I hold space to process your thoughts & feelings, all while meeting your goals. I ask reflective questions, working to deeply understand you and your situation. I am invested in your life & well being, bringing curiosity and positive regard to each session. I want to help you achieve your version of happiness, while fostering self-compassion. I understand the commitment and investment that is therapy- please know that I pride myself on coming to sessions prepared and ready to work with you. We'll take therapy at your pace, while I hold gentle accountability to make sure you achieve what it is what you're looking to get out of therapy. I meet clients with compassion, radical empathy, and deep curiosity.
I provide individual therapy for adults and adolescents. I specialize in anxiety, depression, OCD, and as a new mother, I have a renewed interest in parental struggles, specifically postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. I have a great deal of experience working within themes of perfectionism, identity & shame. I utilize the following modalities and techniques: EMDR, CBT, DBT, Exposure Response Prevention, and motivational interviewing. I have been working as a therapist and clinical social worker for nearly ten years.
