- Teletherapy/Virtual Sessions
- Colorado
Driven by a love of exploration, I’ve lived in seven states and still carry the spirit of my home state of Colorado with me. Travel, time in the mountains, and life with my family — including two husky–German shepherds — keep me grounded. After surviving a serious back injury and a traumatic brain injury, I’ve learned that movement and connection create stability and open opportunities for a thriving life.
I’m grateful you’re taking steps forward, and I hold hope that my holistic somatic (mind–body–spirit) approach, combined with your lived experiences, will guide our work together.
As a Masters-level clinical therapist, I bring over 30 years of teaching and coaching experience and 12 years of clinical work with couples, children, young adults, and older adults in both civilian and military communities. I welcome all populations of humanity into my practice. I’m trained and certified in multiple modalities and tailor treatment to your individual needs and goals.
My Client Focus
You’re my kind of client if you’re willing to show up as a full human — flaws, insecurities, strengths, and all. If you’re ready to do the challenging work of being honest with yourself, engaging in meaningful conversations, and practicing the tools we identify together, we can make meaningful progress toward your goals.
I currently work with individual adults ages 18–99. I don’t claim to know everything, but I do know we can do this work together.
My Communication Style
I bring a calm, grounding presence paired with direct and clear communication. My goal is for you to understand the therapeutic process, feel informed about your progress, and feel comfortable asking questions at any point.
How I Help Clients Reach Their Goals
Everyone is motivated differently and seeks different kinds of energy and experiences in life. I aim to understand what has and hasn’t supported your goals so far. Together, we’ll shape a process that fits you — tailoring both our session work and the practices you use outside of session.
My Journey to Becoming a Provider
My path to becoming a therapist grew from many diverse careers, all rooted in my love of learning and supporting others. My experiences include invisible injuries, trauma (big “T” and little “t”), and the ongoing work of being present for my family, friends, and community. These experiences have taught me that the human spirit is both fragile and strong. I’m honored to walk with you as you find clarity, purpose, and a deeper sense of who you can become.
My First Session With Clients
Our first session will focus on understanding your needs and what brings you to therapy. As we talk, I’ll help you get a sense of how my approach aligns with your goals and what our work together might feel like.
I often begin with CBT, DBT, and mindfulness practices to help you feel grounded and supported as you explore your challenges, strengths, gifts, and natural “superpowers.” You’ll have space for questions, and together we’ll decide on session frequency and what the process will look like moving forward.
