Finding Resilience and Forward Momentum
While we can’t always control the challenges life brings our way, we can choose how we respond to them. Sometimes we find ourselves stuck, facing new obstacles or realizing that old coping strategies no longer serve us. My goal is to collaborate with and empower you to meet these challenges productively, find movement where you feel stuck, and create lasting, meaningful change.
Who I Work With
I’m passionate about supporting adults navigating a range of challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, life transitions, perinatal and postpartum concerns, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship struggles, and stress. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a mental health case manager helping people navigate crises, an experience that taught me how vital compassion, calm, and clear problem-solving are in moments of distress.
My Approach to Therapy
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping you build the insight and tools needed to move forward. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) for OCD, and Mindfulness-based approaches. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and work toward building a life that aligns with your values.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate, I practice under the supervision of licensed psychologists Dr. Megan McKnight and Dr. Mike Hart.
