Finding Strength Through Growth
Therapy can be challenging, but it offers a powerful opportunity to see ourselves, our relationships, and the world in a new light. It’s a space to build the skills and self-awareness needed to pursue your goals and live more intentionally. My approach to therapy is collaborative and goal-oriented—centered on building a strong, trusting relationship where we can face challenges together. Difficult moments often feel hardest when you’re alone, and my role is to walk beside you as you navigate life’s biggest obstacles.
Who I Work With
I work with adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, adjustment issues, insomnia, perfectionism, self-esteem challenges, grief and loss, relationship struggles, social anxiety, panic, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
I’m also passionate about supporting teachers and helping professionals, as well as anyone exploring or undergoing a career transition. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a teacher, and I bring that experience to my counseling work through empathy, structure, and a deep understanding of burnout and purpose.
My Approach to Therapy
My work is grounded in compassion, respect, and collaboration. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and develop practical tools to help you move forward. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) for OCD, and Person-Centered Therapy.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate, I practice under the supervision of licensed psychologists Dr. Megan McKnight and Dr. Mike Hart.
