If you're here, you're probably watching your child struggle — with big emotions, difficult behaviors, anxiety, or just feeling out of place — and wondering how to help. You're in the right place.
I'm Cat, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist in Thornton, CO. I specialize in working with children ages 3–12, teens, and the parents who love them. Play therapy is at the heart of my work — because children don't process the world through words the way adults do. They process through play. In a safe, child-led environment, that play becomes the language for working through the things they can't yet say out loud.
I have a particular passion for neurodivergent children — kids with ADHD, autism, sensory processing differences, learning disabilities, and developmental differences. I work hard to understand the why behind a child's behavior, not just the behavior itself, and to help families build connection and consistency across home, school, and every environment in between.
I also offer teen therapy and parent coaching, because healing rarely happens in just one hour a week. When parents feel equipped and kids feel safe, real change follows.
