My name is Megan, and I provide trauma-informed, attachment-based therapy for adults struggling with shame, people-pleasing, and the feeling that they have to perform to be accepted.
I specialize in working with individuals who feel stuck in painful cycles — shame, self-criticism, people-pleasing, emotional shutdown, anxiety, or repeating patterns in relationships. Often, these patterns are connected to complex or “little-t” trauma and early attachment experiences that taught you how to survive, even if those strategies no longer serve you. Together, we slow down and make sense of what you’ve been carrying, gently untangling the beliefs and emotional responses that keep you feeling trapped.
My approach is trauma-informed and relational, rooted in psychodynamic therapy and attachment theory. I integrate multiple modalities, including EMDR and IFS, to support both deeper insight and nervous system healing. I believe meaningful change happens not only through tools and techniques, but through a safe therapeutic relationship where you feel understood, supported, and truly seen.
