Navigating chronic health conditions is not a linear process, and therapy shouldn't pretend otherwise. I work from a trauma-informed, nervous-system-based lens, which means we move at a pace that feels right for your brain and body. Sessions are collaborative and flexible to meet you where you are at. Some days you'll have the bandwidth for deep work. Other days, we may focus on resourcing and pain management. Together, we might explore how your illness or injury has shaped your identity, process grief, prepare for an upcoming appointment with a specialist, or brainstorm executive functioning skills. The list is long & varied!
Clinically, I bring expertise in brain injury, EMDR, and care coordination, utilizing evidence-based approaches I've carefully adapted for the unpredictable, nonlinear reality of recovery. Whether you're weeks out from a concussion or years into a chronic illness that still doesn't have a name, I understand how profoundly destabilizing it is to live in a body and mind that feel unfamiliar, and how exhausting it becomes to explain yourself to people who can't see what you're carrying.
I'm currently accepting new clients in Connecticut and Colorado. Feel free to reach out for a free 20-minute consultation call to see if we would be a good fit to work together.
