We cannot always control the situations we find ourselves in but we can choose how to react to them. I believe change comes from vulnerability, respect, and an ability to lean into the uncomfortable. In our work together, I aim to create a safe and nonjudgmental space which will enable you to explore yourself and create the resilience you will need to face adversity. I see challenges as an opportunity for growth and believe one can always learn from mistakes.
I primarily work through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy lens, and I specialize in anxiety, stress management, trauma, relationship issues, and depression. I have been trained in EMDR as well and utilize that to help clients process negative experiences and traumatic events. In session, we will work toward having your thoughts, actions, and behavior align to minimize discomfort. I believe change can be achieved by strengthening self-efficacy and resiliency.
I know it can be difficult to take the first steps in addressing your mental health. I am here to support you in this process and I will use an individualized approach to meet you wherever you are at in your life. Please do not hesitate to reach out and I look forward to meeting with you!
