My passion is to provide support to those facing chronic illness and the psychological comorbidities that accompany illness, such as anxiety, depression, disenfranchised grief and PTSD. I believe in a holistic path to healing; a path where the mind, body and spirit is embraced in the work that we will do together. I primarily use a combination of IFS, mindfulness, SE, hypnotherapy, CBT, ACT, and narrative therapies.
My lived experience with a rare and poorly understood chronic illness combined with two decades of professional experience working across a variety of healthcare settings, has provided me with a unique lens into the many needs and adversities individuals encounter within the US healthcare system.
I believe that the ability to heal oneself lies within all of us and I view the client-therapist relationship as a partnership. By recognizing that each individual presents with a unique history, preferences, and goals, I tailor treatment plans and interventions to align with their specific needs and support meaningful progress.
