I have been working in the field of mental health for 5 years. In the role of therapist, my initial priority is creating the safety and familiarity that is crucial to do real work together. I look at the therapeutic process as an opportunity to work with the person coming to me in need of support, and tackle their issues as a team. I bring a nonjudgmental, open-minded approach to my clients and emphasize the importance of clients feeling secure enough to say anything they need to in the space we curate together. My approach has an emphasis on self-compassion and becoming in tune with your emotions and body. In today’s world, it is easier than ever to become disconnected from your body and feelings. My hope is that we can work together to reintegrate your inner wisdom to your conscious level of awareness. I use a variety of approaches with clients, often getting a sense through a few sessions which modality would fit best with the person in front of me. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My work is insight oriented and solution focused for a combination of internal growth and action.
