Hello, I'm Kristi, and I'm excited to get to know you soon. Together, we'll start your therapy journey towards growth and insight.

My ideal client is an individual of any age desiring growth and insight into how their life experiences, particularly with their family of origin, impact their daily relationships, functioning, and joy in life. Whether you're a parent with grown or teenage children seeking to understand your role and foster a challenging relationship, or an individual in your 20s, 30s, or 40s navigating the impacts of your family of origin on your present-day attachment and relational functioning, I'm here to support you.

Regardless of age, you might be at a transition regarding identity, relationship, or new insight, with goals to better understand the roles and patterns in which you find yourself. I also enjoy supporting clients who are seeking EMDR therapy for recent and emerging traumas.

My approach is based on balancing acceptance with personal growth. I am strengths-based and client-centered, striving to empower you to confidently know that you are doing the hard work to create change in your life so you can sustain your growth even beyond our work together. I blend a family systems lens with narrative therapy and real-time Gestalt techniques to simultaneously build trust and rapport while also helping you to be honest with yourself.

In addition to loving my work with clients, I also teach within a Master's in Counseling program. Nothing keeps my clinical skills fresh and my enthusiasm for working with clients like helping future therapists be honest with themselves as they build and hone their skills.
