Here's a draft for the Integrative Somatics profile:

For over fifteen years, I've worked with the body — first as a Structural Integration practitioner and licensed massage therapist, and now as a psychotherapist. That long history of hands-on work taught me something that shapes everything I do in the therapy room: the body isn't just where we carry our stress and our stories — it's also where change actually happens. I hold an MA in Somatic Counseling Psychology from Naropa University and practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate under supervision at Arvada Therapy Solutions in Broomfield.

My approach starts from a simple idea: it's easier to work with difficult emotions and experiences when the body feels supported and organized. Rather than diving straight into what hurts, we first help your system find some ground — through posture, breath, sensation, and sometimes simple supports — and then explore what arises from that steadier place. Clients often tell me this feels different from talk therapy they've tried before: less like analyzing the problem, more like meeting it with the whole of themselves.

I draw on Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, Internal Family Systems, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and I work well with people navigating anxiety, trauma, chronic pain and tension, life transitions, and the feeling of being disconnected from their own body. Whether you're new to somatic work or have been on this path a while, my job is to move at your pace, stay curious alongside you, and trust that your body already knows a great deal about what it needs. If that resonates, I'd be glad to connect.
