I find therapy most potent, meaningful, and transformative when it unfolds within a shared atmosphere of compassion, spaciousness, curiosity, and choicefulness. At times there is room for seriousness; at others, for levity. Above all, I hope to cultivate a relationship where exploration can happen without judgment, and where you are never reduced to a diagnosis, a problem, or a predetermined story.
My background in Somatic Counseling and Body Psychotherapy shapes this work in important ways. Alongside conversation, I pay close attention to the living, moment-to-moment language of the body—your breathing, sensations, emotions, gestures, impulses, and the subtle shifts that often accompany meaningful change. Sometimes this is as simple as pausing to notice the breath or bringing gentle awareness to an experience as it unfolds. At other times, we may draw from a broader range of somatic approaches that invite new possibilities for understanding and healing beyond words alone.
I use these frameworks not to create more boxes, nor simply more sophisticated ways of categorizing experience, but to open additional windows into it. Together, we can become curious about the ways your body, mind, emotions, relationships, imagination, and sense of meaning interact—often revealing resources, patterns, and possibilities that have been present all along, though perhaps just outside awareness.
For me, therapy is less about arriving at definitive answers than about cultivating an ongoing circulation of curiosity between us and whatever your life presents. Within a trusting therapeutic relationship, new "in-roads" often emerge naturally—paths toward greater integration, flexibility, and freedom that neither of us could have fully anticipated alone.
This spirit is reflected in the name FIT Psychotherapy. For me, "FIT" has never primarily referred to an ideal of being "fit." Rather, it speaks to the collaborative process of Finding Integration Together. So much depends on the quality of the therapeutic fit that we discover and continually shape together. My hope is that our work becomes a space where insight, embodied awareness, and genuine relationship
converge—allowing what already exists within you to become more fully known, integrated, and lived.
