I’m a Denver EMDR therapist specializing in religious trauma, purity culture recovery, faith deconstruction, and identity reclamation. I help adults who feel trapped by shame, self-doubt, and the pressure to always get it "right" reconnect with their authentic selves and learn to trust their own voice again.

Many of the adults I work with are navigating the lasting effects of growing up in a rigid or conservative religious environment. They’ve often been told that their needs, feelings, or identities weren’t valid. Perfection was the expectation and the lesson was: if life isn’t going how you want it to, that's on you. Even after updating their belief systems, those messages still linger — shaping how they see themselves, relate to others, and move through the world.

Clients often tell me they feel understood here in a way they haven't experienced elsewhere. That's because I understand that healing from religious trauma isn't just about changing what you believe. It's about rebuilding trust in yourself, reclaiming your identity, and creating a life that feels genuinely yours.

Using EMDR therapy and other trauma-informed approaches, I help clients process the wounds of spiritual abuse, purity culture, and faith transitions so they can move forward with greater confidence, self-compassion, and freedom.

Therapy with me helps you:
Identify and understand the roots of your pain — connecting the dots between past teachings and present struggles
Process difficult memories and emotions so they no longer control your daily life
Rebuild self-trust and self-worth by learning to listen to your own values, boundaries, and needs
Develop tools for emotional regulation when triggers arise, so you can respond instead of react
Reclaim a sense of meaning and connection that feels authentic and life-giving

My approach to therapy is compassionate and collaborative: I believe you are the expert on your own life, and together, we’ll uncover what healing looks like for you.
