I work with men who shut down during conflict, couples caught in the pursue-withdraw cycle, and individuals navigating major life transitions — including those living or relocating abroad.
Many of the people I work with are high-functioning in every area of their lives except their closest relationships. They understand their patterns. They can trace them back. But understanding alone has not been enough to change them. That is where the work begins.
My approach is structured and active. Sessions have direction — we are working toward something specific, not processing indefinitely. A significant part of the work is psychoeducational: I explain what is happening in the nervous system during conflict, why certain patterns developed, and how to respond differently in the moments that matter most. We also practice communication skills directly in session so you leave with something you have already tried once.
I hold master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Exercise Science. My Exercise Science background directly informs how I work with nervous system regulation — the body is always part of the story. I am also Gottman-informed and a certified yoga instructor.
I practice virtually in Colorado and offer coaching to clients nationally and internationally.
