I believe healing happens in relationships where people feel truly seen and understood, so I strive to provide care that is compassionate and grounded in respect for each person’s unique story. As a first-generation Vietnamese American, I deeply value the diverse stories, cultural identities, and experiences each client brings into the room. I’m mindful of how family, community, and cultural expectations shape well-being, and I aim to offer care that feels inclusive and affirming. I recognize that for many clients, your experiences can be shaped by cultural values, family expectations, intergenerational relationships, and the balance between honoring where we come from and discovering who we are for ourselves. I understand how these experiences can sometimes create pressure to prioritize family, put others’ needs before our own, or navigate expectations that may not always align with our individual needs and values.

As a licensed clinical social worker with 10 years of experience in healthcare and mental health, I have worked extensively as a medical social worker in the ICU, emergency room, transplant, and surgical settings. I have supported individuals and families through serious and chronic illness, grief and loss, major life transitions, trauma, during times of uncertainty and high stress, and the complexities of navigating the healthcare system.

My approach as a therapist is warm and collaborative, drawing from various modalities (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help my clients make sense of their emotions, strengthen relationships, and build resilience. My hope is to create a space where you can slow down, be honest about what you’re going through, and better understand yourself without judgment. We’ll work together to uncover what may be keeping you stuck, build on the strengths you already have, and find healthier ways of navigating your relationships, emotions, and life. We may also explore family relationships, attachment patterns, cultural and family expectations, past experiences, and unresolved feelings that may still be showing up in your life today.
