Meet Your Queer Affirming Therapist in Colorado and Arizona
Allow me to introduce myself…. I’m Christina Kelley (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor and queer affirming therapist serving clients online throughout Colorado and Arizona via secure virtual therapy. I work with LGBTQIA individuals, including people at every stage of gender transition, and I bring over 20 years of experience and a personal commitment to lifting up our community.
I know the weight you are carrying. The microaggressions. The news cycle. The family dinners where you smile and say nothing. The slow, grinding exhaustion of making yourself smaller just to move through the world safely. You don’t have to explain any of that to me. I already understand.
Who the Heck am I?
I’m not the stuffy, blank-stare therapist you might have seen on TV. I have a direct, humorous approach, and I genuinely enjoy the people I work with. I won’t ask you where you “feel it in your body”, which is one of the reasons I work well with neurodivergent folks who may find that kind of thing more annoying than helpful. I might give you homework, but it’s a zero judgment zone if life gets in the way and you don’t get to it.
Therapy shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. I tailor my tools to what actually fits you, your brain, your history, your specific kind of exhaustion. Many clients find that working with me feels less like traditional therapy and more like finally having a space where they can breathe and think out loud with someone who already speaks their language.
