I always dreamed of being in a helping profession. I started my undergraduate college experience with the goal of becoming a pediatrician focusing on genetic disorder. Through a series of decisions I made during college, I realized this goal was not achievable and I had what I call a “quarter-life crisis.” During this time of reflection, I considered how many of my friends sought my advice with regards to their relationships and decided to apply to graduate school and pursue a masters degree in Couple and Family Therapy. The rest, as they say, is history.
I believe that you can’t know where you’re going until you know where you’ve been. I help my clients examine the different messages and events that have impacted their current state of being, alongside developing tools and deciding the actions they can take to improve their lives. I work collaboratively with my clients and use different protocols, such as EMDR, DBT, and play therapy to help my clients achieve their goals. Ultimately, I am your guide, walking alongside you, while we navigate this journey together.
I am a laid back person and am up for any adventure. You may see me hiking, traveling, hanging out with friends, reading, bowling, etc.
