I have always felt that connecting with others is what makes life meaningful, and this perspective translates into my role as a therapist. I strive to provide a warm, non-judgmental, and friendly space that allows you to express and work through your challenges that have impacted and continue to impact you. People come to therapy for many different reasons, including anxiety, depression, trauma, struggling in relationships, feeling overwhelmed, or simply desiring a space to process ongoing life events.
My approach is influenced by psychodynamic theory and I pull tools from various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness approaches. My goal is to help you reach your goals through gaining insight and making meaning together of your history, patterns, and current stressors, as well as collaborating on ways to overcome them.
I work to foster a curious, collaborative therapeutic space that helps you understand yourself more deeply, accept yourself more fully, and approach your life's challenges more intentionally.
The decision to go to therapy can bring up many different feelings, and taking this first step toward your mental well-being is something to be proud of. Please reach out if you are interested in a consultation to see if we are a good fit.
