Supporting Children and Adolescents Through Big Feelings and Life Changes. When a child is struggling, it often shows up as big emotions, behavioral changes, or difficulties at school and home. These challenges are not a sign that something is “wrong” with your child — they’re signals that something in their world feels overwhelming or unsafe. I provide a supportive, trauma-informed space where they can express themselves and begin to build the skills they need to feel more regulated, confident, & understood. I work with kids who are navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, behavioral concerns, and the effects of stress.
My approach is developmentally appropriate and relationship-based, incorporating play, creativity, and skill-building to help children communicate and cope in ways that feel natural to them. Caregivers are an essential part of the therapeutic process.
I collaborate closely with parents and guardians to support consistency between sessions, provide guidance around emotional regulation and behavior, and help translate therapeutic progress into everyday life at home and school. Seeking support for your child can feel like a big step. If you have questions I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation.
