Everyone deserves to be fully heard and understood. I create a warm, collaborative space where clients can slow down, get curious about themselves, and do the deeper work of healing — with a sense of humor and authenticity along the way. I tailor treatment to each client's needs and strengths, bringing a strengths-based, trauma-informed, client-centered lens to every session.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma — particularly trauma related to sexual violence — along with relationship concerns, life transitions, and questions of identity. My approach draws on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems (parts work), Narrative Therapy, and psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks, adapted to fit what each client actually needs.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the nonprofit sector working alongside immigrants and refugees, homeless young adults, and youth in the foster care system — experience that shaped how I think about trauma, resilience, and access to care. I later trained clinically with adults navigating the court system toward family reunification and with survivors of sexual violence. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University.
My practice is affirming and inclusive, welcoming clients of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities, and is grounded in a continued commitment to social justice and cultural humility.
I'm licensed in Colorado, Illinois, and Massachusetts (LPC.0021347 / CO, 180.015791 / IL, LMHC10003371 / MA) and see clients via telehealth.
